So Halloween is a great time of the year for your Little Monsters, who get the opportunity to dress up as one of their favourite characters or as a scary monster. Not only do they get to dress up, they get to go knocking on all of their neighbours doors, shouting "trick or treat" and getting lots of sweets in return. How much fun, and how good would it be to be that young again!
So Halloween for us is not just about "trick or treating", dressing up or a chance to have a party with some of our celebrations specials, it is the birthday of my youngest daughter, who turned 6 this Halloween.
Being a Director of Monster Inflatables, my daughter gets to have the best birthday parties. So far her parties have included our famous go karts last year and the year before that she had one of our bouncy castles at one of our recommended venues. Her first and second birthday (not that she knew much about it) consisted of our soft play sets along with a selection of our fun foods.
This year was extra special as she asked if she could have a Chocolate Tea Party. Hmm, I thought. I may just be able to do something there. So on her birthday I set up Monster Inflatables very own chocolate fountain and offered doughnuts, shortbread, strawberries, marshmallows and more for the kids to dip and enjoy. Although, the kids were probably still buzzing from all the sweets from trick or treating, they absolutely loved it. It was different, relatively cheap as well as the fountain being easy to set up. The base also has over 16 different light combinations, making it blend in with any theme or colour scheme.
To burn off the large consumption of sugar we also used our PA system and light set which is available to hire from Monster Inflatables, as a party extra, which was a massive hit.
Lots of singing, screaming and eating at my daughters 6th birthday party, which is what a kids party is all about. I am sure the residents of Springfield, Chelmsford ears are still ringing now.
