Is bouncy castle hire safe in hot weather?
It is completely safe. The blower moves the air around inside your bouncy castle keeping it cool and preventing overheating. But you do need to be careful that the surface doesn’t get too hot in direct sunlight.

What precautions should I take?
We recommend that children wear socks on very hot days. Keep some spares handy for your young guests. You’ll find many of our bouncy castles have built-in covers to protect your kids from sunburn and heat exhaustion.

How can I keep my kids cool?
Make sure they take regular breaks from all the bouncing, to cool off in the shade. You should also make sure that they have plenty to drink. Why not add slush machine hire to your order, it’s a fun way to refresh them and keep them cool on even the hottest days.

Can I use a bouncy castle in the rain?
Your built-in cover will also keep off light rain, so a brief shower won’t spoil the fun, but please take care to keep the inside dry to prevent slipping. If the rain gets heavier, you will need to stop bouncing until it stops raining. Make sure you dry your castle thoroughly before they start bouncing again.

Is bouncy castle hire safe when it’s windy?
The HSE set rules for using bouncy castles on windy days. If it is forecast to be blowing, or gusting, at over 24mph then it’s game over I’m afraid. Remember, you can wait to see what conditions are like on the day before you make your call and cancel your Essex bouncy castle hire booking as late as 8am on the day of hire without charge. If we have to cancel because of the weather, we’ll tell you as soon as possible.

Can I plan bouncy castle hire indoors?
Yes, we have a huge choice of bouncy castle hire, and bounce and slide hire, with a low ceiling clearance of under ten feet. That’s low enough to fit in most hired halls and party venues. Plus for smaller spaces, you’ll find a range of low height bouncy castles. We even have mini castles that fit in your living room.

Whatever the weather, we’ll always do our best to make sure you have a great, and safe, time. So trust the team that puts your welfare first, come rain or shine. Talk to Monster Inflatables today.
