Today, Monster Inflatables visited one of the industries trade shows, held in Essex! We like to visit the shows across the UK to see the latest in bouncy castle and soft play innovations.
Christmas is fast approaching, so upon entering the show we were greeted with an inflatable snow globe. The snow globe was made out of plastic similar to that of an inflatable zorb ball. You enter the globe by simply unzipping the back and then stepping into it. Inside the ball was a small throne with a selection of Christmas props. Although the globe is not a bouncy castle, it is an exciting way to make memories with fantastic photo opportunities. .
There was a great selection of bouncy castles, some made in a shiny gloss material and some in a traditional cape and grain material. We feel that the future of the industry is moving closer to the glossy, shiny material; which is evident in our own fleet of bouncy castles.
There was a Frozen themed low height bouncy castle on display, which is an ideal hire for halls where height may be an issue, but at the same time this very popular castle can be used for garden hire too. We thought the artwork of the princesses and Olaf were great and very appealing, which the kids will love. To top if off, the matching soft play set was fantastic too
Next up was a red and blue shiny bounce and slide combo. This castle was made out of the new gloss material which did not only look amazing, but also a lot easier to keep clean for our customers. A very tempting product I must admit!! The advantage of this castle was the velcro strips sewn in so we can match any theme for your kids party.
Another inviting exhibit was a huge white castle aimed at the wedding market. This inflatable was very impressive and we felt that this would be a huge hit and perfect to help keep the kids entertained at a wedding or christening. Great photo opportunity for the bride and groom too.
We was pleased to see another huge inflatable aimed at adults or a larger number of kids to bounce on. This was 15ft wide by 15ft in length but I was shocked that this was only 90kg in weight. The guys at the show said the weight was due to a new design; Our immediate thought was that we might be able to offer larger inflatables through houses, without requiring side access!
The next inflatable was a cool gold and black disco bouncy castle designed to fit a speaker in the back with flashing disco lights. This new generation of disco castles will be very popular and a great addition to any party or event..
After this we saw another blue shiny velcro castle again to demonstrate a variety of different themes, Pineapple were offering an amazing deal to include 3 free velcro artwork packs, enabling hirers to offer multiply themed castles..
There was also a fancy shiny party slide with an 8ft platform. This looked awesome and we're sure that our customers would agree too, watch this space!
I loved the small trikes which my daughter sat on riding around the hall in, wheels were glowing as they went round. Such a small, simple, but great addition to add to a small child's party.
A huge inflatable replica of the "Big Fella" himself (Santa) was there too, keeping himself to himself in the corner of the room. Although this was probably less of our market and more designed for home use or large shopping hall exhibitions.
Last there were two inflatable Grottos which were very inspiring, both with compelling reasons to hire; One aimed at corporate offices and one more homely and aimed at more festively cosy fetes and school events.
The bouncy castle show was held in Grays, Essex.
